Sir Robert Black Trust Fund Award Ceremony is an annual event in recognizing outstanding students of Project Yi Jin (PYJ) and Yi Jin/Secondary Schools Collaboration Project (YJ/SSCP) of the respective year.  For the academic year of 2007/08, the Ceremony was held on 7 January 2009 at the EDB Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre, 125 awardees from 8 institutions were given $5,600 each.

Two student representatives spoke on behalf of the awardees in thanking Sir Robert Black Trust Fund for the grant and sharing their joy for completing Project Yi Jin which helped them to gain new confidence in themselves and enable them to pursue further education.  The Federation values the partnership with Education Bureau in providing Project Yi Jin since 2000.
