Invitation for Application to Membership
The Federation for Continuing Education in Tertiary Institutions (FCE) has recently agreed to widen its membership criteria, accepting a new category of Associate Member.
Founded in 1994, FCE currently has thirteen Full Members and one Associate Member. They are The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, Caritas-Hong Kong, Lingnan University, City University of Hong Kong, The Open University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Vocational Training Council, The Hong Kong Institute of Education, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong College of Technology, Hong Kong Institute of Technology and Po Leung Kuk.
Full / Associate membership is by institution and each member will formally nominate a representative to the FCE. Upon joining FCE, there will be a non-refundable entrance fee of HK$20,000. The annual subscription fee for the year 2008/2009 is HK$35,000 (for Full Member) and HK$17,500 (for Associate Member). Individuals with a professional interest in continuing education are also welcome to apply for individual membership (HK$1,000).
